Our mission is to help dogs and people live their best lives — to thrive together through shared learning, mutual care & support, and movement & play.
Meet Urban Pack
Urban Pack is an intentional cooperative community of care & service where people, pets, and the planet thrive together. We build this community by helping dogs and dog people live their best lives together by building connections (individuals, groups & organizations, businesses) and coaching & consultation to improve dog - people interactions and relationships.
We focus our care, service, community-building, and mutual support on four overlapping areas: childcare, dog care, elder care, and planet care. All are welcome.
We believe in the wonder of People and Dogs
Cuz…dogs. If we let them, they can bring out the best in us. They can connect us to each other, connect us to our neighborhood, and help us move and play. If we can learn to be the people our dogs need us to be - and may even believe we are - can we also learn to be the people our family, friends, neighbors, and community need us to be?
We are utterly interdependent. Think of all the ways (beyond their loving and loyal companionship) dogs serve humans - guiding, sniffing, comforting, rescuing, and more. Can we reciprocate by helping them meet their needs too - beyond the survival basics? How can we fill their buckets every day so we can thrive together? Can we help each other be the best stewards possible for our dogs? Can our thriving dogs then help others in our community feel seen, valued, and cared for…to thrive as well?
